    What's the story

    Pacers Rasikh Dar Salam and Mukesh Kumar were pivotal to Delhi Capitals' 10-run win over Mumbai Indians in Match 43 of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL).

    Both pacers claimed three wickets apiece as DC successfully defended 258 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

    Meanwhile, this was Rasikh's second successive three-wicket haul this year.

    Fine spells from the duo

    MI were cruising at 136/3 when Rasikh dismissed Hardik Pandya (46) and Nehal Wadhera (4) in the 12th over.

    Mohammad Nabi (7) was his other victim.

    Meanwhile, Mukesh dismissed Ishan Kishan (20) in the powerplay before getting the better of the dangerous Tim David (37) toward the end.

    He dismissed Piyush Chawla (10) on the final ball as MI were restricted to 247/9.

    Three-fer for Rasikh Dar Salam

    Rasikh was the pick of the DC bowlers as he claimed 3/43 in four overs.

    This was his second successive four-fer as he has now raced to six wickets across seven IPL matches at an economy of 10.47.

    The 24-year-old went wicket-less in his first five IPL outings.

    Overall, he now owns 21 wickets from 18 T20 matches.

     Mukesh

    A look at Mukesh's numbers

    Mukesh was a bit expensive as he claimed 3/59 in four overs.

    He now owns 20 wickets across 17 IPL games at an economy of 10.76.

    With 13 wickets in seven games, the pacer is now the joint-second-highest wicket-taker this year (ER: 11.05).

    Overall, he now has 59 wickets in as many T20 games (ER: 8.95).

    How did the game pan out?

    Jake Fraser-McGurk destroyed the MI bowling attack with a career-best 27-ball 84 in the powerplay overs.

    Abishek Porel (36), Shai Hope (41), Rishabh Pant (29), and Tristan Stubbs (48*) also batted well as DC posted 257/4 while batting first.

    In reply, Hardik and Tilak Varma (63) led the charge for MI. They eventually lost by 10 runs.
