Dwayne Bravo: 48 wickets
Star all-rounder Bravo, who bolstered the Chennai Super Kings, is the highest wicket-taker in the last over (IPL). Bravo, who had a vicious slower ball, outclassed the batters in this phase with his variations. The former is the only player with over 40 wickets in this over. He took 48 final-over wickets while maintaining an economy rate of 10.41.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: 35 wickets
Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar holds the record for taking the most final-over wickets by an Indian bowler in the IPL. The right-arm seamer, who still perturbs the batters with his immaculate line and length, has taken 35 wickets at 14.75 in this regard. His economy rate reads 10.83. Notably, Bhuvi has over 80 wickets in death overs in the cash-rich league.
Harshal Patel: 34 wickets
Like Bravo, Indian pacer Harshal Patel too deceives the batters with slower balls. He has been shining forth when it comes to death overs. Harshal took 32 wickets in IPL 2021, the joint-most in a season with Bravo (2013). Harshal, who now plays for Punjab Kings, has taken 34 wickets at 12.00 in the final over. The tally includes an economy rate of 10.86.
Vinay Kumar: 29 wickets
Former Indian seamer Vinay Kumar is the only other bowler with over 25 final-over wickets in the IPL. The right-arm pacer snapped up 29 wickets in this regard at an average of 17.22. Notably, Vinay conceded runs at 10.67 in the 20th over. Although his tally included 59 sixes, he was hit for 20 sixes and 27 fours.
