IPL 2018: 548 runs
Buttler, who initially player for Mumbai Indians, was signed by RR ahead of the 2018 season. The Englishman had a poor start to the season, having recorded a string of low scores. However, he bounced back and tallied 548 runs at 54.80 that season. His tally includes five 50+ scores. Buttler struck at a remarkable 155.24 in IPL 2018.
IPL 2023: 392 runs
RR had a phenomenal first half in IPL 2023, where they topped the standings. However, they lost consecutive matches to fall out of the top four. Although Buttler wasn't as consistent in IPL 2024, he smacked two centuries to enter the record books. After reaching three figures against KKR and RCB, Buttler became the first batter with more than two centuries in IPL run-chases. Buttler took his tally of centuries in the IPL to seven, the second-most. During the 2024 season, Buttler completed 3,000 IPL runs for the franchise.
