IPL auction: Kagiso Rabada bought by PBKS
What's the story
South African speedster Kagiso Rabada has fetched a handsome deal in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction on Saturday.
Rabada was surprisingly released by Delhi Capitals as they retained his Proteas team-mate Anrich Nortje.
However, Rabada will now feature for the Punjab Kings.
Rabada is a consistent force with his variations and that will bode well for PBKS.

PBKS
Rabada will add plenty of character
Rabada has been one of the star performers with the ball across the last three seasons.
He has settled in well since making his IPL debut in 2018.
He promises wickets aplenty and this will help PBKS, who needed a match-winner in this department.
This is a sound move by PBKS, who need to have a good auction given the failures in recent seasons.
