England pace spearhead Jofra Archer has been sold to Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2022 Auction. Archer, who represented Rajasthan Royals in the previous few seasons, has fetched a price of Rs. 8 crore. Notably, Archer will not feature in the 2022 season as he is injured at the moment. He will accompany Jasprit Bumrah in the MI pace attack in 2023.

Archer has been one of the most lethal pacers in the Indian Premier League. He made his debut in 2018 for Rajasthan Royals. The England seamer has scalped 46 wickets from 35 matches at an incredible average of 21.33 so far.
