Gujarat Titans biggest purchase on the first day was Lockie Ferguson. They shelled out Rs. 10 crore for the services of the Kiwi star. They signed Indian all-rounder Rahul Tewatia for Rs. 9 crore and spent Rs. 6.25 crore on Mohammed Shami. Gujarat bought England opener Jason Roy for just Rs. 2 crore and are paying Rs. 3 crore to R Sai Kishore.
GT will rely upon Hardik and Rashid's performance
Gujrat Titans spent Rs. 30 crore on Hardik and Rashid during the players' draft and they will hope the duo will justify their price tag. In Shami and Ferguson, GT have the two best international seamers in their ranks. Gujarat's batting looks covered as well. However, they have don't have an X-factor in their squad, barring Tewatia, who often lacks consistency.
