Sai Kishore races past 10 IPL wickets
Sai Kishore recorded his career-best bowling figures in the IPL. It was also his maiden four-wicket haul. Sai Kishore has now raced to 12 wickets from eight IPL games at an 17.17. His economy rate reads 7.63. Notably, Sai Kishore started his IPL journey with Chennai Super Kings in 2020 but didn't get a game. GT then acquired him at the 2022 mega auction.

As per Cricbuzz, Sai Kishore is the first Indian spinner to take a four-fer for GT in the IPL. Rashid Khan remains the only other spinner with this feat, having taken two four-wicket hauls.

Sai Kishore played his first IPL match in nearly a month. He played two matches last month, taking a wicket each. The Tamil Nadu spinner was the highest wicket-taker in the 2023/24 Ranji Trophy. He was the only bowler with over 50 wickets in the red-ball tournament. Notably, Sai Kishore has over 60 wickets in T20 cricket.
