Travis Head vs Kuldeep Yadav
Travis Head has been at his destructive best in IPL 2024. He has struck at 199.15 so far. The left-handed batter scored the fourth-fastest IPL ton in SRH's previous match against RCB. DC could introduce wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav early to tackle him. Moreover, the Delhi wicket would suit Kuldeep. Notably, Head has scored just 2 fours off 18 balls against Kuldeep in T20 cricket.
Prithvi Shaw vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been SRH's go-to bowler in terms of wickets. However, he has taken just three wickets in IPL 2024 so far. The right-arm seamer could stop Prithvi Shaw from going all out in the Powerplay. Bhuvi has dismissed Shaw twice in the IPL, while the latter strikes at 100 in this battle. The tally includes 22 dot balls.
Rishabh Pant vs Pat Cummins
DC skipper Rishabh Pant has been among the runs in his comeback IPL season. Although Pant hasn't got a big score, his knocks have benefitted the Capitals. His counterpart Pat Cummins might back himself to defuse Pant's threat. The Aussie seamer has dismissed Pant once off 15 balls in T20 cricket. Pant has a strike rate of 126.66 in this battle.
Heinrich Klaasen vs spinners
It will be interesting to see how DC plot their spin attack against Heinrich Klaasen. The SRH batter averages over 100 and strikes at a staggering 212.50 against spin in IPL 2024. Notably, Klaasen has struck at 170.96 against Axar Patel without getting dismissed in T20 cricket. However, the same falls to 128.57 against Kuldeep, who also hasn't dismissed Klaasen.
