Warner (150) ranks 21st overall in terms of most matches featured in the history of the Indian Premier League. He can easily surpass the tallies of Gambhir (154), Amit Mishra (154), and Harbhajan Singh (163) in the impending season. Among the active players in IPL who are a few spots above Warner include Ajinkya Rahane (151), Dwayne Bravo (151), and Manish Pandey (154).
Warner can equal Gayle in terms of IPL hundreds
Warner (4) is joint-third-most in terms of most hundreds in IPL. Only Kohli (5) and Gayle (6) are the other two batters with more 100s than him. He shares this record with Shane Watson (4) and is followed by ABD (3) as the top five in this category He could equal Gayle's tally in IPL 2022 if he manages two more tons.
Warner's thirst for boundaries can break a few milestones
Warner is one of the most dangerous boundary-hitters in IPL. So far, he has smashed 526 fours and ranks third only to Kohli (546) and Dhawan (654) in this regard. He could breach the 550 fours mark in this season. In terms of sixes, Warner (200) ranks eighth overall, with Raina (203) and Kohli (210) occupying the seventh and sixth spots respectively.

Warner has a reputation as a great fielder. He currently ranks tenth in most catches taken in the lucrative tournament (68). He could look to climb up the ladder. The southpaw has scored 915 and 945 runs against KKR and PBKS respectively. He could better his numbers and reach the 1,000-run mark in the 15th edition of IPL.

Warner would be raring to make his impact felt on his return to Delhi Capitals. DC would play their first match against the five-time champions Mumbai Indians on March 27 (Sunday). The match will take place at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. It will commence at 3:30 PM IST. It would be the first double-header of IPL 2022.
