As per statistician Umang Pabari, Dhoni is now the oldest Indian player to score an IPL fifty at 40 years and 262 days. The previous oldest was Rahul Dravid at 40 years and 116 days. Also, Dhoni scored a fifty in the IPL after 28 innings. The last time before tonight he scored a fifty in IPL was against RCB at Bangalore in 2019.

Playing his 122nd IPL match, pacer Umesh Yadav (2/20) was a class act for KKR. The senior pacer has raced to 121 wickets in the IPL at 29.74. Umesh has now claimed 14 wickets versus CSK at 27.28. Umesh has also raced to 50 IPL wickets for KKR at 28.26. He is now just the fourth bowler for KKR to achieve this feat.
Bravo is the joint-highest wicket-taker in the IPL
CSK all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was terrific with the ball. The veteran West Indian claimed three scalps. Bravo has now equaled Lasith Malinga in terms of most wickets in the IPL (170). Bravo now has 21 wickets versus KKR and has the third-highest number.
