Lucknow Super Giants were beaten by fellow new Indian Premier League (IPL) team Gujarat Titans in match number four at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Shubman Gill recorded his second duck in the IPL. Vijay Shankar (4) continued his rough patch. As per Cricketpedia, his last five IPL innings read: 4, 8, 8, 28, and 3. Only the second time in 13 IPL innings Hardik has touched the 20-plus run mark. Miller (30) has gone past the 2,000-run mark in the IPL (2,004). He surpassed Michael Hussey (1,977).
Rashid Khan gets Hooda for the third time in IPL
Rashid Khan (1/27) bowled well, claiming the vital scalp of Hooda. Notably, this was the third instance in which Rashid dismissed Hooda in the IPL. The Afghan wrist-spinner has raced to 94 wickets in the IPL at 20.62.
Tewatia is the real star for GT
Tewatia was the star of the show for GT. He came in at a crucial stage and added a superb 60-run stand alongside Miller. He applied the mega shots in the end, finishing with 40* from 24 balls. He slammed five fours and two sixes.
