Padikkal would want to continue his sublime run
Padikkal had tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the 2020 season. He underwent the mandatory quarantine before he resumed training. Notably, Padikkal finished as the leading run-scorer of RCB in 2020, having amassed 473 runs with five 50+ scores. He followed it up with impressive performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Padikkal made history by registering four consecutive hundreds.
