The million-dollar T20 tournament, IPL 2019, came to a thrilling end on Sunday, as Mumbai Indians beat title holders Chennai Super Kings to clinch their fourth title. Punjab and Hyderabad awarded the best venues
The venue plays an important factor when it comes to the shortest format of the game. From experience to proper seating and security arrangements, alongside a sporting wicket for the best gameplay, the venue has a crucial role. In this edition, Punjab's IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali and Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium jointly stood the best across all venues to bag the award.

Shubman Gill: Emerging Player of the Tournament
IPL has been known to bring in new faces in Indian cricket over the years and the tradition continues to go strong, as the 12th edition too saw a number of such talents. This year, it was KKR's opening batsman Shubman Gill, who stood tall with his flawless batting ton win Emerging Player of the Tournament. He bagged a cash-prize of Rs. 10 lakh.

David Warner: Orange Cap for scoring the most runs
David Warner of Sunrisers Hyderabad, who missed the last season owing to his ban, made a thumping return to the circuit. Scoring 692 runs in just 12 innings at an average of 69.20, including eight half-centuries and a ton, he proved himself right before the World Cup. As a result, he won the Orange Cap, and a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh.

Imran Tahir: Purple Cap for most wickets
CSK's charismatic spinner Imran Tahir is not only known for his run in the park, but also the reason behind it. Tahir rightfully proved himself worthy of the Purple Cap as he claimed the most number of wickets in the tournament. He finished with 26 runs in 16 matches at an average of 16.57, including two four-wicket hauls.
