IPL: RCB beat KXIP, who is the winner and sinner?

    What's the story

Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore have secured their first win of the IPL 2018 campaign.

They defeated Kings XI Punjab by 4 wickets in a nail-biting contest at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

RCB bowled out Punjab for 155 and AB de Villiers sealed the win in a well-planned chase.

Here is the winner and the sinner of this fixture.

    Fall from grace

    Yuvraj Singh is the sinner

Yuvraj Singh used to be one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket during his prime.

However, of late, he hasn't been able to get a decent knock off his willow.

He is definitely heading towards the twilight of his career and maybe it is time Kings XI overlook the veteran batsman in favour of another player.

    Superman

AB de Villiers is the winner

Royal Challengers Bangalore retained AB de Villiers and the South African is repaying their faith.

He kept his cool and planned his innings well.

Moreover, he didn't throw away his wicket as it would have opened the floodgates to RCB's downfall.

The right-handed batsman's brilliant half-century sealed the win for the home side.

    Information

    Franchise hopping

Punjab's batsman Aaron Finch is now the first player to appear for seven IPL sides. Finch has played for Royals, Delhi, Pune Warriors, Supergiant, Mumbai, Lions and now Punjab. Parthiv Patel, T Perera and Dinesh Karthik have played for 6 teams.
