IPL: Corey Anderson replaces injured Coulter-Nile in RCB's squad
Kiwi all-rounder Corey Anderson has replaced the injured Aussie pacer, Nathan Coulter-Nile in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad. Royal Challengers were allowed to opt for a replacement from the 'Registered and Available Player Pool' (RAPP) and they picked up Anderson for his base price of Rs. 2 crore. Anderson, who was a part of Delhi Daredevils last season, went unsold in 2018 auction.
Coulter-Nile yet to recover from his injury
Nathan Coulter-Nile made his IPL debut in 2013 and since then he has played 26 matches and picked up 36 wickets. In 2017, he was the second highest wicket-taker for Kolkata Knight Riders. He was acquired by RCB this year for Rs. 2.2 crore. Coulter-Nile, who suffered a stress fracture to his back, hasn't played any cricket since last October and is still recovering.

Corey Anderson has been a part of Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils. He has played 27 IPL matches, scoring 521 runs while also picking up 8 wickets. Anderson hasn't been in great form after a successful outing in 2015 World Cup. For his national side, he has scored just 191 runs and picked up 10 wickets in last 15 ODIs.

RCB squad will now have- Virat Kohli (captain), AB de Villiers, Sarfaraz Khan, Chris Woakes, Yuzvendra Chahal, Umesh Yadav, Brendon McCullum, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Quinton de Kock, Mohammed Siraj, Corey Anderson, Colin de Grandhomme, M Ashwin, Parthiv Patel, Moeen Ali, Mandeep Singh, Manan Vohra, Pawan Negi, Tim Southee, Kulwant Khejroliya, Aniket Choudhary, Pavan Deshpande, and Anirudha Joshi.
