What's the story
A phenomenal 2018 IPL season came to an end with returning Chennai Super Kings winning their third IPL title.
CSK orchestrated an 8-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mumbai.
After the well contested final, several players were handed awards for displaying superb performances through out the season.

Man of the Match (Final): Shane Watson
Shane Watson was handed the 'Man of the Match' award in the final for his unbeaten 117 in 57 balls, which came at a strike rate of 205.26. This was Watson's second hundred of the season and it included 11 fours and 8 sixes.
Most Runs
Orange Cap: Kane Williamson
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson was handed the Orange Cap after the Kiwi ended the tournament as the leading run scorer.
In 17 matches, Kane Williamson scored 735 runs at an average of 52.50 and a strike rate of 142.44.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper also had 8 half-centuries to his name.
With this season as well, the curse of Orange Cap continued.
Most Wickets
Purple Cap: Andrew Tye
It's not often that we see an overseas bowler claim the Purple Cap.
Kings XI Punjab's Andrew Tye became the first Australian to win the Purple Cap award after finishing the tournament with 24 scalps.
Tye averaged a stunning 18.66 and conceded runs at an economy of 8.00.
The Australian bagged 4-wicket haul thrice this season.
Double delight
Emerging Player and Stylish Player: Rishabh Pant
Delhi Daredevils young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant finished the tournament with the second most runs with 684 to his name.
He was given the 'Emerging Player' and the 'Most Stylish Player' awards.
Pant averaged a mammoth 52.61 and scored at a strike rate of 173.60.
He was the stand out performer for Delhi Daredevils, the team which finished at the bottom of the table.
Top performer
Super Striker and Valuable Player: Sunil Narine
West Indian all-rounder Sunil Narine was handed the 'Superb Striker' and the 'Most Valuable Player' awards.
He finished the tournament with 357 runs at a strike rate of 189.89.
Narine was also KKR's joint-leading wicket-taker with 17 scalps in 16 games.
He picked up these wickets at an average of 27.47 and an economy of 7.65.
One handed blinder
Perfect Catch: Trent Boult
Delhi Daredevils' Kiwi speedster Trent Boult was handed the 'Perfect Catch' award for his stunning one-handed effort against Royal Challenges Bangalore to dismiss their skipper Virat Kohli.
Defending champions Mumbai Indians might have failed to make it to the play-offs but were handed a consolation as they won the 'Fairplay' award.
