Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad: Who will win today?
Mumbai Indians will be hoping for a change of fortunes when they host Sunrisers Hyderabad in match number 23 of 2018 IPL. Sunrisers have faced back to back defeats and Mumbai would look to make the best of this opportunity before they head down south to take on MS Dhoni's high flying Chennai Super Kings. So who will win tonight?
Mumbai Indians are hoping to turn the tides
Defending champions Mumbai Indians have had a horrendous start to their title defense this season. Rohit Sharma's men know that it is a must-win game for them if they have to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the playoffs. Mumbai have an exceptional unit, but they have been unfortunate to be outdone in several nail biters.
How much will Mumbai score?
Mumbai Indians have a strong batting line-up, given the big hitters in their line up. If the defending champions end up batting first, we can expect a score in the range of 180 plus. The Wankhede is a small stadium and the likes of Rohit Sharma, Evin Lewis, Kieron Pollard and the Pandya brothers can clear the ropes with ease.
How much will Hyderabad score?
Shikhar Dhawan was in fine form for the Sunrisers. However, his return is not certain yet. Kane Williamson has been in golden touch and would surely rise up to the occasion. We can expect a score of 170 plus if the Sunrisers end up batting first. The likes of Wriddhiman Saha and Manish Pandey add even more firepower to Hyderabad's batting line up.
Who will win tonight?
Sunrisers will be a hard side to beat, but Rohit Sharma and his men should come out on top tonight considering they are playing at home and the quality they have in their ranks. In Bumrah and Mustafizur, Mumbai have two fantastic death-over bowlers and Rohit and Evin can give excellent start. This would definitely be an interesting contest.
