SRH vs MI: Here's your guide to pick Dream XI
The Sunrisers Hyderabad will host the Mumbai Indians in their second game of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League. Mumbai Indians tasted a narrow defeat in their opening fixture while Sunrisers claimed a comfortable victory. Both sides have some big T20 stars and picking your Fantasy XI could be difficult, so here is a guide to help you select the best combination.
Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya in leadership roles
If you want to extract maximum points, designate Rohit Sharma as the captain of your team. We all know he can score and when he scores, he scores big. Hardik Pandya would be the vice-captain of this XI. Pandya's all-round ability makes him a top performer and one thing is for certain, he will either contribute with the ball, the bat or both.
High scoring contest on the cards
We are opting for 5 batsmen in our XI. Shikhar Dhawan, who is in red-hot form, has to be a part of this team. One would be a fool to ignore the big-hitting West Indian Evin Lewis. Ishan Kishan will be our wicket-keeper ahead of Saha and Manish Pandey will be the final batsman in our XI. Pandey's form means points are a certainty.
Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Shakib Al Hasan
The Pandya brothers along with Bangladesh ace Shakib Al Hasan will be our all-rounders in the XI. The Pandya brothers, Krunal and Hardik have been consistent performers in the IPL over the past few editions and selecting them would be a wise bet. Shakib Al Hasan impressed with the ball in the game against Rajasthan Royals bagging two wickets.
Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah and Rashid Khan
Rookie leg-spinner Mayank Markande impressed us all on his debut bagging 3 wickets for Mumbai Indians, hence we decided to give him a shot in the XI. His googlies were a delight to watch. The consistent Jasprit Bumrah will be the only pace specialist in our XI. Afghan teen sensation Rashid Khan is a no-brainer and completes our team.
