RCB vs KKR: Here's your guide to pick Fantasy XI
Royal Challengers Bangalore will be up against Kolkata Knight Riders in match number 29 of 2018 IPL. Both the teams lost their previous matches and would be looking to bounce back. The last time these sides met, KKR won the tie. With Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in form, fans should be geared up for a cracking Fantasy XI. Here is our guide.
Kohli as captain of this batsmen heavy line-up
Virat Kohli gets the nod as the captain of this XI, as the RCB skipper will be looking to make the most of his form. Kohli knows he can solve RCB's problems and that gives the fans plenty to look forward to. In-form AB de Villiers is a vital cog and promises runs. KKR opener Chris Lynn would look to make his mark.
Quinton de Kock leads middle-order charge
Quinton de Kock is the side's wicket-keeper and could get RCB going along side Kohli. He makes an interesting option in the team and is a hard-hitting batsman. KKR young star Shubman Gill played a matured 37-run innings against DD and earns his place. Mandeep Singh comes in the lower middle-order and could be daunting on KKR bowlers at the death.
All-rounder Narine as vice-captain
KKR all-rounder Sunil Narine is our choice as the vice-captain. He has been amongst the runs, but his bowling has subdued. But being a quality player, expect him to come back hard. Washington Sundar is the second choice as the side's other all-rounder.
Wrist spinners lead young bowling unit
Wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav lead the proceedings in the bowling. The Indian national team duo are playing for opposite camps and bear the spin strengths for their respective franchises. They need to come out strong and get desired wickets to gain points. Young teenage bowler Shivam Mavi has shown intensity and picked wickets despite giving away runs, and fills the XI.
