IPL 2019: RCB beat CSK, despite Dhoni's masterclass
Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Chennai Super Kings in match number 39 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This was RCB's third win in 10 matches. Steyn four wickets away from a special feat
Dale Steyn, who played his second match in IPL 12, has raced to 96 wickets in the tournament. He needs just four more wickets to become the 14th bowler to get past the mark of 100. He took two wickets tonight.
IPL: ABD now has the third highest catches
AB de Villiers took two catches on the night. The legend has 81 catches in the IPL. ABD went past Kieron Pollard (79) and needs two more to surpass Rohit Sharma (82). He is third on the list after Raina (99) and Rohit. The RCB superstar hit one six in his knock of 25. He now has 204 career IPL sixes.
Parthiv registers 13th career IPL fifty
Parthiv Patel (53) hit his second fifty in IPL 2019. It was Parthiv's 13th career IPL fifty. He now has 2,758 career IPL runs and went past Virender Sehwag (2,728) and Yuvraj Singh (2,750). Deepak Chahar (2/25) has raced to 13 wickets in IPL 12. Chahar also has the most dot balls in IPL 2019 (115). He went past MI's Jasprit Bumrah (111).

RCB lost Virat Kohli early, before Parthiv added crucial stands. After his dismissal, RCB lost Marcus Stoinis quickly. Moeen Ali played a brisk cameo to get RCB past 160. The CSK bowlers did well overall. In reply, Steyn got two wickets in the first over, before Umesh added two more. MS Dhoni hit 24 runs in last over but CSK fell short by one.
