IPL: Warner leads SRH to an easy win over GL
Defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Gujarat Lions to hand their second loss in the 2017 Indian Premier League. Chasing 136, skipper David Warner led from the front and scored 76 runs off 45 balls, while Moises Henriques scored 52 runs to win the game by nine wickets, with 27 balls to spare. Warner also crossed 7000-run mark in T20s.
SRH to host Gujarat in sixth match of IPL 2017
Gujarat Lions will be keen to overcome their loss in the opening game against Kolkata Knight Riders as they meet Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Hyderabad will look to continue their good form after a win against RCB in their first match. This will be second home match for Hyderabad, giving them an edge over the Lions.

Gujarat post 135 runs on scoreboard
Gujarat Lions managed to put on 135 runs on scoreboard after being put to bat first by the hosts. Opening the batting Jason Roy scored 31 runs, but Brendon McCullum managed only five runs. The visitors kept losing wickets at regular intervals, until Dinesh Karthik and Dwayne Smith had a 56 run partnership to put on a decent score on the board.

Playing in his second IPL match, Rashid Khan picked up three wickets for 19 runs to grab the purple cap from Imran Tahir. He also produced IPL 2017's best bowling figures till now.
