IPL: Pant's battle goes in vain as RCB defeats DD
Rishabh Pant scored an astonishing 57 runs to put up a lone battle against Royal Challengers Bangalore, but Delhi Daredevils ended up losing by 15 runs in the Vivo IPL 2017. Chasing down a target of 158, DD could put up only 139 runs on board losing nine wickets. Pawan Negi got two crucial wickets in the last over to win it for RCB.
DD to meet injury hit RCB in the opener
Delhi Daredevils began their 2017 IPL campaign at M Chinnaswamy Stadium against the injury-ravaged Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the teams have been hit with injury concerns with their major players out of action. While Bangalore have lost their opening match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi will look to dominate RCB at their home ground.

Kedar Jadhav's fifty helps RCB post 157
After choosing to bat first, RCB put on a decent 157 runs on the scoreboard in the 20 overs. However, the credit goes to Kedar Jadav, who along with Stuart Binny put on a 66 run partnership to stabilize RCB after a few quick wickets. Jadhav went on to score 69 runs, before he was caught off Zaheer Khan.
