After a fantastic display by the batsmen, Mumbai Indians' bowlers put on a stellar performance to thrash Delhi Daredevils by 146 runs in the 45th match of 2017 IPL. Chasing 213 runs, Delhi lost their first wicket on the very first ball and were bowled out for 66 runs. With this win, Mumbai became the first team to qualify for the play-offs.

Simmons scored 66 off 43 balls. After Patel departed, Kevin Pollard started smashing boundaries all over the stadium to guide Mumbai to a huge total. He remained unbeaten on 63.

With a fifty in his first IPL match of the season, Lendl Simmons completed his 1000 IPL runs. He took 23 innings to reach the mark and is the second fastest after Shaun Marsh to do so.

Indian Premier League's highest wicket taker Lasith Malinga picked up his 150th IPL wicket tonight. Malinga now has 151 wickets from 105 matches, with best figures of 5/13. Amit Mishra is the second highest wicket-taker with 133 wickets.
