IPL: KKR crush GL by 10 wickets
Kolkata Knight Riders continued their tradition of winning opening game as they crushed Gujarat Lions by 10 wickets in the Vivo Indian Premier League 2017. The opening pair of Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn put on a partnership of 184 runs, winning the match for KKR with 31 balls remaining. Gambhir scored 76, while Lynn hit 93 runs.
Gujarat hosts Kolkata at Rajkot today
The third match of the tenth edition of Vivo Indian Premier League will be played between Gujarat Lions (GL) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Last year's table toppers GL will look to continue their good form this year too. On the other hand, two-time champions KKR will be excited with a few new additions to their team.

KKR captain Gautam Gambhir is ranked second in most fifties in the IPL, having smashed 31 50-plus sores in 131 innings. However, he is also the player with most ducks in IPL, with 12 zero-run innings.
Raina leads from front as GL score 183 runs
Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina smashed unbeaten 68 runs to guide his team to 183 runs after being put to bat first by KKR. Brendon McCullum scored 35 runs after opening with Jason Roy. Raina was accompanied by Dinesh Karthik in the death overs, with the duo putting on a 87-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Karthik scored 47 runs.
KKR chase record number of runs
Tonight's chase of 184 runs was the highest ever score successfully chased down in the history of the IPL without losing a single wicket. It was also the highest partnership put for first wicket, surpassing Gayle-Dilshan's stand of 167 runs.
