IPL: KKR bowlers deny SRH a win
Kolkata Knight Riders successfully defended their score of 172 runs to hand Sunrisers Hyderabad their second consecutive loss in 2017 Indian Premier League. SRH fell short of 17 runs even after getting a good start from David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan. Yuvraj Singh also put on a quick 26 runs off 16 balls performance to help SRH get close to the target.
KKR, SRH fight for the top spot
Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns at the Eden Gardens in search for the top spot in the points table. Both KKR and SRH have won two of the three matches this season and have been handed a defeat by Mumbai Indians. In their nine encounters so far, KKR have won six, while SRH have won three.
Robin Uthappa takes KKR to a big finish
Robin Uthappa scored 68 runs as he led KKR's batting side to score 172 runs for the loss of six wickets. Along with Manish Pandey, he put on a 77-run partnership for the third wicket after the opening batsmen fell for 40 runs. Pandey scored 46. A quick 21-run knock from Yusuf Pathan helped KKR to go post 170.
Three wickets for Bhuvi, becomes most successful bowler against KKR
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar became the most successful bowler against KKR as he picked up three wickets today. He has till now taken 18 wickets against KKR.
