IPL: Skipper Raina leads GL to a victory against KKR
Gujarat Lions' captain Suresh Raina scored 84 runs to rescue his team and register a four-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in the 23rd match of 2017 IPL. Chasing 188, GL's opening pair put on 42 runs. After losing a few quick wickets, Raina partnered with Ravindra Jadeja to score 58-runs and guide GL to a victory after a series of losses.
Lions look for a win as they visit KKR
Suresh Raina and his team are having a totally opposite fortune this year than their debut year. Placed at the bottom of the points table, Gujarat Lions face Kolkata Knight Riders, the team on the second spot. Both the teams have played five matches till now. KKR have won four and lost one, GL have won just one and lost the other four.
