IPL: DD show disciplined performance; defeat KXIP by 51 runs
Delhi Daredevils' bowlers restricted Kings XI Punjab to only 137 runs to register their first home win in the 2017 Indian Premier League. DD won the match by 51 runs as their bowlers tamed the Punjab batsmen. Chris Morris picked up three wickets, while Nadeem and Cummins picked up two wickets each. Axar Patel with 44 runs was the highest scorer for KXIP.

Delhi Daredevils will host Kings XI Punjab in their first home game at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in New Delhi. DD have won one of their two fixtures in this season, while KXIP have managed to win two of their three matches. With DD's unimpressive record at home, it will be interesting to see how they play their first home game.

Sam Billings gave Delhi Daredevils a fantastic start as the team went on to post 188 runs on the scoreboard at a loss of six wickets. Billings scored 55 runs as he put on a 53 run partnership with Sanju Samson for the first wicket. Corey Anderson then partnered with Chris Morris and Pat Cummins to score 68 runs in last five overs.
