Inzamam's nephew Imam-ul-Haq has inherited his run-out skills
Pakistan legend Inzamam-ul-Haq was a great batsman. However, he did have one 'major' flaw. Inzamam was just horrible when it came to running between the wickets. The former Pakistan captain would either run himself or his partner out. Now, in 2018, he might not be playing anymore but his nephew seems to have inherited his infamous 'talent'.
Imam-ul-Haq a part of a comical run-out
Just like his famous uncle
While Imam-ul-Haq would have hoped to inherit his uncle's batting skills, it was the comical run-out which has drawn comparisons to his legendary uncle. Imam got his partner Azhar Ali run-out in Pakistan's tour match against Northamptonshire, thus reminding all the fans all his uncle's ill-famed talent. Inzamam was run-out 40 times in his ODI career.
Azhar Ali attempts to avoid him go in vain
As you can see in the video, Imam tapped the ball to fine leg and the youngster began his run while keeping his eye on the ball. However, a comedy of errors saw him run into Azhar Ali, who made several attempts to avoid him. The result was Ali was run-out and Imam was left embarrassed with his hands on his hips.
Fortunately, not a costly error
The mix up that refreshed our old memories, happened in the 4th over of the final innings. The error, however, did not turn out to be a costly one as Pakistan beat Northamptonshire by 9 wickets and Imam-ul-Haq finished with an unbeaten 59. Pakistan were chasing a target of 133 after scoring a mammoth 428 in the first innings.
