He scored 202 runs off 135 balls in Plate Group encounter against Sikkim. Known for his shot-making prowess, Kaushal earned a name in the tourney as he amassed 489 runs, including 3 tons. TNPL's CV Varun is the new mystery spinner in town
Mystery spinners have found success in the IPL over the years. And CV Varun could be another player, who can spice up the 2019 auction. He showed his magic in Tamil Nadu Premier League in 2018, and played a crucial role in helping his side win a tie after a winless season. Varun can bowl the carrom ball and leg-cutter along with off-spin deliveries.
Middle order batsman Milind in dream run with the bat
Delhi's Milind Kumar switched to Sikkim to get more game time and since then hasn't looked back. The 27-year-old Milind smashed 261 on the opening day of the Ranji Trophy 2018-19. He backed that up with 224 against Nagaland and then scored 133 and 61 against Uttarakhand. Milind has impressed this term and franchises would be willing to spend big bucks to buy him.
IPL auction to be held in Jaipur
The IPL 2019 auction is set to be held on December 18 in Jaipur. The eight franchises will be looking to acquire players to further strengthen their squads. Most of the core players have been retained with some big names like Gambhir and Yuvi released.
