After their nail-biting four-wicket win over New Zealand in the final in Dubai, a number of Indian players have made huge strides.
Star opener Shubman Gill continues to hold the top spot in the batting rankings, while his skipper Rohit Sharma has climbed to the third spot.
Captain's rise
Rohit climbs to third spot
As mentioned, Indian skipper Rohit has jumped two places to third in the ODI batting rankings after his stellar performance in the final.
He scored a crucial 76 runs off just 83 balls, contributing significantly to India's victory. He was adjudged the Player of the Final.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli dropped a place to fifth (batting rankings) after scoring an impressive 218 runs in the entire tournament.
Rankings boost
New Zealand players make significant progress
New Zealand players have also made huge leaps in the latest ODI batter rankings after their Champions Trophy performance.
Daryl Mitchell jumped to sixth, while Rachin Ravindra and Glenn Phillips rose to 14th and 24th spots respectively.
Meanwhile, South Africa's Heinrich Klaasen has dropped a place to fourth in the batting rankings. Notably, South Africa lost to New Zealand in the semi-final.
Bowlers
Santner rises to second in bowling rankings
New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner has jumped six places to second in the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings, only behind Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana.
Santner's teammate Michael Bracewell also made some strides, jumping 10 places to 18th in the bowling rankings.
Pacer Matt Henry, who missed the final due to an injury, has slipped to the sixth spot.
Spinner
Indian spinners climb in ODI rankings
Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav jumped three spots to third in the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings after his brilliant haul of seven wickets in the Champions Trophy.
Ravindra Jadeja also jumped three places to the 10th spot after his five wickets during India's unbeaten run.
Mohammad Shami, who was expensive in the final, has dropped to the 13th spot. He took a fifer against Bangladesh in India's opener.
