Each player on the team will be awarded ₹15 lakh, while support staff members are set to receive ₹10 lakh each. Odisha celebrates hockey team's return with grand welcome
The Indian men's hockey team received a grand welcome upon their return to Odisha. They were greeted at the Biju Patnaik airport by tribal folk dancers and hundreds of youth on motorcycles, who escorted them in a procession. Banners welcoming the players were displayed throughout the city, and posters of the Olympic bronze-winning side adorned platforms along the route to their hotel.
