Women's cricket: Indian eves pounce on sorry Malaysia
The Indian women's team inflicted a 142-run defeat over Malaysia in the Asia Cup on Sunday. In pursuit of 170, Malaysia were bowled out for a paltry score of 27 runs. With this win, India have started their T20 Asia Cup campaign with a bang. The tournament is being played in Kuala Lumpur. Here is how the match panned out.
Malaysia bowled out for the lowest T20I total ever
Malaysian women scripted an unwanted record in T20s after being trampled for just 27 runs. Earlier the lowest ever score managed by an international side was Bangladesh (44). Anuja Patil and Poonam Yadav picked two wickets each.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur scored a decent 32-run knock. The duo stitched a 86-run stand off just 53 balls that helped India get momentum after a poor start earlier.
