Mohammed Shami - 7/57 (Mumbai, 2023)
Mohammed Shami tore through New Zealand's batting lineup with a career-best 7/57 in the first semifinal of the 2023 World Cup in Mumbai.
Defending 398, the pacer took the first two wickets before dismantling the middle order.
His brilliance meant NZ were all out for 327 despite being 2/220 at one stage.
These are the best ODI figures by an Indian bowler to date.

Mohammed Shami - 5/54 (Dharamsala, 2023)
Shami dismantled New Zealand with a fifer in the league stage of the 2023 WC as well.
He got rid of Will Young early on. Shami then dismissed Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell, both of whom recorded 50+ scores.
In his final spell, the Indian pacer dismissed Mitchell Santner and Matt Henry on consecutive balls.
His 5/54 was instrumental to India's four-wicket triumph in Dharamsala.

Zaheer Khan - 4/24 (Centurion, 2003)
New Zealand were bullied by Team India in the 2003 World Cup match in Centurion.
The Kiwis managed only 146 in 45.1 overs as Zaheer Khan was on fire.
The left-arm pacer dismissed opener Craig McMillan for a duck before claiming the key wickets of Nathan Astle, Chris Harris, and Brendon McCullum.
He finished with figures worth 4/42 across 10 overs. In response, India got the job done in style (150/3).
