The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the schedule for the 2025 limited-overs series between India Women and England Women. The Indian women's cricket team is set to play five T20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) during their tour of England. The first T20I will take place in Nottingham on June 28, while the ODI series will commence from July 16.
Venues for the T20I series
The first T20I of the series will be held at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on June 28. The second match is scheduled for July 1 at Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol. The third and fourth T20Is will take place at The Kia Oval in London on July 4, and Old Trafford in Manchester on July 9, respectively. The fifth and final T20I will be played at Edgbaston in Birmingham on July 12.
ODI series to follow T20Is
Following the conclusion of the T20I series, the teams will shift their focus to the 50-over format. The first ODI is set for July 16 at Utilita Bowl in Southampton. The iconic Lord's in London will host the second ODI on July 19. The third and final match of the series will be played at Seat Unique Riverside in Chester-le-Street on July 22.
Historic women's Test match at Lord's in 2026
In addition to the 2025 limited-overs series, the ECB has also revealed plans for a historic event in women's cricket. In 2026, India and England will compete in the first-ever Women's Test match at Lord's. "I'm also delighted we can confirm that India Women will return in 2026 to take on England Women in the first-ever women's Test match at Lord's," said Richard Gould, ECB Chief Executive Officer.
