Women's T20I tri-series: England defeat India by 7 wickets
After losing the tri-series opener against Australia, India women faced their second consecutive defeat. Indian eves were beaten by the English women by seven wickets. With this result, England now have two victories in the T20 tournament. India posted a mammoth score of 198/4, but the visitors chased down the target with eight balls to spare. England batswoman Danielle Wyatt slammed a brilliant century to seal the tie in her side's favour. Wyatt smashed 124 runs off just 64 deliveries. Her century in just 53 balls was the second fastest in women's T20I history. She smashed 15 fours and 5 sixes and shared a 96-run partnership with Beaumont. England now hold the record for highest record chase in Women's T20Is.
India openers heroics fall short
Mithali Raj and her partner Smriti Mandhana shared a stunning 129-run stand for the first-wicket. The duo registered their fifties before Mandhana (76) fell in the 13th over with Indian run-rate around 10 an over. Mandhana scored the fastest T20I half-century by an Indian women.

India take on Australia in their next encounter on Monday, which is massive given that it is a must-win scenario. India women are win-less in the tourney and will need to beat both Australia and England to have faint hopes of qualifying for the final.
