India-Australia 2nd T20- Who could be in the playing XI?
After clinching a convincing nine wicket victory in the first T20 match against Australia at Ranchi, the Indian cricket team will face the Aussies in second T20 at Guwahati's Barsapara Cricket Stadium. It will be the first international match for the newly built Assam Cricket Association's stadium. Let us have a look at the probable teams for the second T20 match.
Will India include Ashish Nehra?
Apart from including Shikhar Dhawan in place of Ajinkya Rahane in the first T20 match, no other changes were made by skipper Virat Kohli. While the Indian team has been winning matches with the same combination, including veteran pacer Ashish Nehra in the playing eleven might be a good move. However since Kohli doesn't experiment much, Nehra might not get a chance.
The probable team
If Ashish Nehra is kept outside the team, the probable eleven would be - Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli(C), Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni (wk), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Smith ruled off the tour due to injury
Australian skipper Steve Smith did not have a good ODI series in India. Not only the team lost 1-4 under his captaincy, he scored only 142 runs in five matches. After being rested for the first T20 match, Smith was sent back home due to a shoulder injury, leaving his deputy David Warner to lead the team.
Probable Australian team
After the loss in first T20, Australia is likely to make a few changes. The probable Australian team could be - David Warner (C), Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Travis Head, Marcus Stoinis, Moises Henriques, Tim Payne, Andrew Tye, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Adam Zampa and Jason Behrendorff.
