He also commended Harmanpreet Singh's team for their record-breaking feats. "In the past four years, Hockey India has displayed a stunning performance. In the Tokyo Olympics, we won bronze and again in the Paris Olympics we won bronze," he stated during his interview with ANI.

Tirkey also applauded the leadership of Harmanpreet, who helped the Indian men's hockey team win the bronze medal.
