This was the second instance in a T20I match where the West Indian openers were both dismissed for zero. Lewis registered his second career T20I duck as well.
India script fourth consecutive T20I win against WI

Navdeep shines on debut, Bhuvi rises up the ladder

Unique feat scripted by Indian bowlers, Pollard shines
This was the sixth time where six Indian bowlers were in the wickets column. They achieved the feat earlier against South Africa in Durban in 2011 and against UAE in Mirpur in 2016. Kieron Pollard (49) surpassed the 800-run mark for WI in T20Is (837) and became the fifth batsman to do so. He now has 44 career T20I sixes to his name.
Rohit and Kohli surpass Guptill with these special records
India's opening batsman Rohit Sharma (24) surpassed Martin Guptill's tally of 103 career T20I sixes. Rohit is now second on the list with 104 maximums. He needs two more to surpass 'Universe Boss' Chris Gayle (105). Indian captain Virat Kohli (19) surpassed Guptill (2,272) in terms of career T20I runs. He is now the second highest run-scorer after Rohit in T20Is.
Pant's struggle continues in T20Is

How did the match pan out?
Windies lost two wickets in the first two overs and that jolted the side. Nicholas Pooran threatened for a while, but got out for 20. Windies then lost Shimron Hetmyer (0) and were in a real spot of bother. Kieron Pollard (49) was the lone man standing. In reply, India lost Shikhar Dhawan (1) early. From there on, India somehow held on.
