BCCI announces India's T20I squad for Sri Lanka series
The BCCI on Saturday announced India's T20I squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka, starting February 24. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, who left the bio-bubble ahead of India's third T20I versus West Indies, have been rested for the series. India have almost retained the players who were part of the T20I series versus West Indies.
Kohli and Pant rested for the series
Kohli and Pant was released by the Indian team management for the third and final Twenty20 International against West Indies. The decision was taken by the team management and BCCI as there were sufficient number of players in the squad, besides India winning the series. The two players are set to return for the Test series thought versus Lanka after the T20Is.
Jadeja and Bumrah return for India
India have called-up Ravindra Jadeja for the T20I series. The all-rounder missed the limited-overs series versus West Indies due to an injury. Meanwhile, KL Rahul misses out. Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah returns as well after being rested for the series against WI. Washington Sundar also misses out with an injury.

A look at the schedule
The three-match T20I series starts on February 24. The first T20I will be played in Lucknow. The next two T20Is will be played on February 26 and 27 respectively in Dharamsala. All matches will start at 7:00 PM IST.
