Indian team for ODI series against SL announced
The Indian team for the upcoming ODI series and one off T20 match against Sri Lanka was announced by the national selection committee of the BCCI. Veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been dropped from the team, while youngster Shardul Thakur has been included in the team. Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav have all been rested for the series.

Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
ODI series schedule
After the three match test series, India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the five match ODI series. The first match will be played on 20th August at Dambulla, followed by second and third ODI match at Pallekele on 24th and 27th August respectively, and fourth and fifth ODIs at Colombo on 31st August and 3rd September respectively.
ODI series to be followed by one off T20 match
The Indian cricket team will end the Sri Lanka tour with one T20 international match on 6th September at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
