What's the story

Australia won the third ODI against India to pull one back in the five-match series and keep their hopes alive.

With this victory, the series is now placed at 2-1.

Batting first, the Aussies scored 313/5 as Usman Khawaja (104) scored a ton.

In reply, India fell short of the target, despite Virat Kohli hitting a ton.

Here are the records broken.

3rd ODI

How did the match pan out?

Australian openers Aaron Finch (93) and Usman Khawaja added 193 runs for the first wicket.

This was the seventh highest first-wicket stand for Australia in ODIs.

Glenn Maxwell (47) played a solid hand as Aussies posted 313/5.

Indian bowlers fought back at the death.

Kohli then smashed a 95-ball 123, but no other batsmen produced the desired goods to take India home.
