Only, Rohit Sharma (338 runs) is above him. He is also the ninth overall to get past the mark. Kohli is the third highest run-scorer in ODIs this year (927). This was his fifth fifty in 2019.

Kohli became the fastest to 20,000 international runs. He achieved the feat in his 417th inning. The 30-year-old also became only the third Indian to get past 20k international runs. Sachin Tendulkar (34,357 runs) leads the tally for most international runs in world cricket. The list includes several GOATs including Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis, Brian Lara and Dravid to name a few.

53rd career ODI fifty for Kohli and other records
Kohli amassed his 53rd career ODI fifty. He now has 903 World Cup runs and is the third highest run-scorer for India after Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly. He went past former Indian legends Virender Sehwag (843) and Rahul Dravid (860) in terms of career World Cup runs. This was Kohli's fifth World Cup fifty.

Dhoni notches 72nd career ODI fifty
MS Dhoni (56*) went past 600-run mark for India in World Cups (653). This was Dhoni's fourth World Cup fifty and a maiden one in CWC 19. Dhoni also amassed his fifth ODI fifty in 2019. The veteran wicket-keeper batsman now has 72 career ODI fifties. He shared a 70-run stand with Hardik Pandya (46) for the sixth wicket.
Shami surpasses Madan Lal with this feat
Mohammed Shami (4/16) has raced to 25 career wickets in the World Cup. He went past former Indian stalwart Madan Lal (22) in terms of career World Cup wickets. He also surpassed Manoj Prabhakar (24 wickets). This was his best bowling figures in the World Cup. Shami now has 27 ODI wickets in 2019. That's the highest mark by an Indian bowler this year.

India lost Rohit Sharma (18) in controversial fashion, before KL Rahul (48) and Kohli added some solidity. India lost wickets after that and were reduced to 140/4. After Kohli's dismissal, the likes of Dhoni and Pandya helped India get to 268. In reply, West Indies were never in command and kept losing wickets to surrender the tie. They were knocked out from CWC 19.
