#IndiaInEngland: What are former cricketers saying about Kohli-led India?
What's the story
Former England cricketer Geoffrey Boycott joined several others to lash out against Virat Kohli-led India, after they went down 0-2 against England in the ongoing 5-match Test series.
Boycott, who represented England in 108 Tests and 36 ODIs, slammed India's batting order for being naive and irresponsible.
India were bowled out for 107 and 130 in the recently concluded second Test at Lord's.

India came to England being complacent, says Boycott
Boycott wrote about the Indian batsmen in his column for the Telegraph.
He stated that, "India have come to England complacently and arrogantly thinking they can bat the same way and everything will be OK on the day. Any time you do not plan your cricket, the game will kick you up the backside, and India deserve the thrashing they are getting."

'Indian players have let everyone down'
The commentator also felt that the Indian players have let everyone down and the batting has been naive and irresponsible.
"So far, the Indian players have let themselves and their supporters down. The batting has been so naive and irresponsible, it has bordered on stupidity. Wafting drives at tempting out-swingers is thoughtless," Boycott wrote.
Woeful
India's batsmen have been woeful against England's swing
Indian batting has completely been dependent on Kohli, who has scored more than half of India's total across 4 innings.
The Indian top-order has failed massively and the middle-order too hasn't managed to come out of their blocks.
In the first Test, Kohli amassed 200 out of India's overall score of 436.
At Lord's, the Indian batsmen managed 197 runs leaving Kohli aside.

India lost the Lord's Test tamely: Laxman
Caught in unfavourable conditions, not reading what the opposition threw saw India lose the Lord’s Test tamely without showing a fight. Hopefully lessons are learnt quickly and the rest of the batsman start applying themselves going forward.

Where was the real test of character?
The conditions were very difficult to bat but England bowled superbly and made great use of the conditions. Real test of character for a batsman is when you can do well in difficult conditions against a good bowling attack.
