India beat West Indies in third T20I: Records broken
The Indian cricket team beat West Indies in the third T20I at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday. Put into bat, India posted 185/4 in 20 overs. Pooran hit 61, 62, and 61 in the three-match series. Tonight, he hit eight fours and a six. Pooran now has eight T20I fifties and four versus India. He has surpassed the likes of Kevin Pietersen (1,176) and Yuvraj Singh (1,177) in terms of T20I runs. He has raced to 1,193 runs at 27.74. He now has 335 runs versus India at 41.87.

As per Cricbuzz, Pooran is now the second player to hit three successive 50+ scores against India in T20Is after former New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum. Pooran slammed 184 runs in the series at 61.33.
