#IndiaInAustralia: Preview, TV listing and Dream XI of second T20I
The Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team will be keen to bounce back against Australia in the second T20I, to be held on Friday. India lost the first match narrowly by 4 runs and the match highlighted certain issues. Australia will be beaming with confidence and would want to strike the right chords again. Here is everything to know about the second T2OI.
India need a strong show
Kohli would have wanted to start the tour of Australia with a victory, but things didn't go according to the plan. Now to level the series, the side needs to put in a commendable shift. India could be open to make a few changes both in batting and bowling. Further, the batting positions need re-arrangement. One would hope to see a better performance.
Chahal could be the option alongside Kuldeep
One would want to see Yuzvendra Chahal bowl alongside Kuldeep Yadav. The two wrist spinners can create issues for the hosts. Kuldeep was terrific in the first match. The question looms over KL Rahul's form, who hasn't gone past 30 in the last 6 T20Is.
Australia will be pumped up
Australia will be concerned about the form of D'Arcy Short and would want the top order to come out all guns blazing. In Brisbane, Maxwell and Stoinis changed the momentum for the side. At the moment, the middle order of Australia looks settled. Aussies were also electric on the field and got crucial wickets. They will be confident of dominating Men in Blue.
Numbers game: Australia vs India
In 17 T20Is played between the two nation, India have managed to clinch 10 victories to Australia's 6. In 17 T20Is this year, Aussies have won 10 and lost 7. India have won 13 out of the 17 T20Is in 2018. Shikhar Dhawan is the leading T20I run-scorer in 2018 (648). Rohit Sharma needs 10 runs to be next to Dhawan in the list.
