What's the story
The BCCI has announced a change in the schedule for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour of India.
The Lankans were supposed to play two Test matches, followed by a three-match T20I series.
However, the visitors will now play the T20Is first, followed by the two Tests.
The series will start from February 24 instead rather than 25th.

Bengaluru to host Day/Night Test
Sri Lanka will now kick off the tour in Lucknow with the first of the three T20Is on February 24.
The HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala will be host the next two games on February 26 and 27 respectively.
Meanwhile, the first Test in Mohali will begin on March 4.
The first-ever pink-ball Test between India and Lanka will be played in Bengaluru.

BCCI confirms the same in a statement
"Sri Lanka will first play the T20I series, comprising three matches followed by a two-match Test series, which will be a part of the ICC World Test Championship, 2021-23," an official BCCI release stated.

Key details regarding India and Sri Lanka
India are scheduled to take on West Indies in a three-match T20I series, starting Wednesday.
All the three matches of that series will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka have surrendered the five-match T20I series versus Australia.
Sri Lanka trail the five-match T20I series by a 0-3 margin.
