Prior to that, they blanked West Indies in both the ODIs and T20Is respectively.
The news from Dharamsala is that Rohit Sharma has elected to field first.
Statement
What did Rohit say after winning the toss?
We just want to have a score in front of us. As the game progresses, it will get colder, but we're prepared for that," Rohit said.
"We would've bowled first too," Shanaka said.
Explaining his desire to field first, Shanaka said that "the wicket was under the covers for a long time" due to rain and it might help bowlers early in the game.
