Manchester United yet to make an extension offer, says Ighalo
Odion Ighalo has revealed Manchester United are yet to offer him a contract extension beyond his current loan spell. The former Watford striker joined United in January transfer window deadline day. Ighalo's deal was likely to be extended to June 30
Earlier, it was reported that Ighalo's extension is likely be get extended to June 30 due to the shutdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic. However, it is unknown when will football resume due to the impact of the deadly virus. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had hinted that Ighalo could be kept at the club beyond the end of the current campaign.

"There is no offer on the table yet," Ighalo, who scored four goals in eight matches for United, told Elegbete TV. "Because the season is still on and I'm yet to finish my loan deal. I don't just take decisions alone. I have a principle and I have a guideline for everything I do. I always pray to God to direct me."
Shanghai Shenhua offered £400k-a-week deal to Ighalo: Report
Earlier, a report in Sky Sports stated, Ighalo's parent club Shanghai Shenhua offered a two-year contract extension worth more than £400,000 per week. Ighalo's current contract at Shanghai Shenhua expires in December 2022 and the Chinese club wants to keep him until December 2024. Ighalo said he is yet to make a decision and will do the same once the season ends.

Ighalo said he will go with whatever God says. "Have you seen me say a word? I don't have anything to say. When the season is finished and I get two offers from the two teams, then I will sit and think about it, pray about it and whatever God says I should do, I will go with that," Ighalo added.
