    What's the story

The finals of the 2017 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup will be played between India and England at Lord's on Sunday, 23rd July.

Both the teams have shown an amazing performance in the tournament till now.

As English and Indian women prepare to meet for the final time at Lord's, we compare both teams' strengths and weaknesses.

    Batting

A plus point for both the teams

Both England and India have managed to score big runs in the tournament, and have dangerous batting units.

For England, Natalie Sciver has scored match winning centuries. Apart from her, the trio of Sarah Taylor, Heather Knight and Tammy Beaumont gives strength to the batting line-up.

For India, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, Veda Krishnamurthy and Deepti Sharma, have been a nightmare for the bowlers.

    Information

Mandhana's form a concern for India?

India's top order batsman Smriti Mandhana scored 90 runs followed by a century in the first two matches of the tournament. However, she has not been able to score runs in the last couple of matches. Her form is a concern for Indian team.

    Bowling

A slight advantage for the England women

The hosts will have an advantage of playing at home over the Indian team.

Pacers and spinners from both the team have been successful in keeping the opposition batting line up under their control.

While England have Alex Hartley, Laura Marsh and Heather Knight, India have much experienced Jhulan Goswami, Deepti Sharma, Poonam Yadav, Ekta Bisht and Rajeshwari Gayakwad.

    Information

India have an upper hand over England?

India women are the only ones to beat England in the tournament. While this gives India a slight psychological advantage over the hosts, their improvement since the loss has been commendable.
