After losing two wickets for only 38 runs, Raj (53) and Sharma (78) stabilized India's innings with a 118-run partnership. In the death overs, Krishnamurthy and Harmanpreet scored 50 runs to escalate the asking rate.

Indian skipper Mithali Raj needs just 33 runs more to become the leading run scorer in the women's ODI matches. With 5959 runs, she is behind England's Charlotte Edwards, who score 5992 runs in her ODI career.

Indian women are scheduled to face the South Africa women on 8th July, followed by a match against Australia women on 12th July. Post that, India will play final round-robin match with New Zealand women on 15th July.
